24th Parade the Circle and Circle Village

Find Yourself in the Circle at Cleveland’s signature summer event. This fabulous, fun, FREE celebration features the Parade, presented by The Cleveland Museum of Art, and Circle Village, presented by University Circle Inc.

The Parade, which begins at Noon, incorporates the drama and artistry of colorful floats, puppets, costumes, dancers, and musicians. For more information about the Parade, please visit ClevelandArt.org. Circle Village invites visitors onto Wade Oval for an afternoon of activities, live music, and delectable food.

Rock & Reggae Music Benefit

Where: Beachland Ballroom & Tavern – 15711 Waterloo Rd. Cleveland, OH 44110
What/Details: The sounds of local rock and reggae will fill the Beachland Ballroom & Tavern on Saturday, May 25th to support the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland. The event, in its 5th year, will feature an evening of great entertainment, food and the artisans of the Art’s Collinwood neighborhood. Headlining the benefit is local favorite Carlos Jones and P.L.U.S. Band in the Ballroom and The TwistOffs will be headlining in the Tavern. Additional confirmed bands include JMiller Band, Oldboy and Big Ship (featuring members of Oroboros and Waterband) plus many more to be announced later this month. Exhibit | Fieldwork: Soldiers’ & Sailors’ Monument


Curator of Invertebrate Paleontology Joe Hannibal and Curator of Mineralogy Dr. David Saja contributed their expertise to the rehabilitation of the 116-year-old Cuyahoga County Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, located on Public Square in downtown Cleveland. Hannibal and Saja investigated the warping of the large marble tablets in the Monument that contain the names of County soldiers and sailors who served in the American Civil War.
